If you've ever made the steep trek to Abbot Hut, then you've earned this one. Built in 1922 by CP Hotels, this improbably located hut sits in a pass between Mt Victoria, and Mt Lefroy. It is used as a base for mountaineers, and also as a destination for scramblers with a love of suffering and healthy supply of colourful language.
